Last updated 23 June 2026

Providr Pty Ltd ("Providr", "we", "us" or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose and protect personal information when you visit our website or use the Providr platform. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

1. Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to visitors to our website, NDIS providers who use the Providr platform, and the support workers and participants whose information is entered into the platform by those providers.

2. Information we collect

We collect information in a few ways:

3. How we use information

We use personal information to provide and improve the platform, set up and support your account, deliver the service you have asked for, respond to enquiries, keep the platform secure, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your information.

4. Participant and sensitive information

When you use Providr as an NDIS provider, you remain responsible for the personal and sensitive information of your participants and workers, and for having a lawful basis to collect and use it. Providr processes that information on your behalf, under your instructions, only to provide the service. We apply extra care to sensitive information, and access is limited to what is needed to run the platform.

5. When we disclose information

We may share information with trusted service providers who help us run Providr, such as hosting and infrastructure providers, strictly to deliver the service and under confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose information where we are required to by law. We do not sell personal information to anyone.

6. Where your data is stored and how we protect it

Your data is stored in Australia. We protect it with measures including encryption in transit, access controls, audit logging and regular review. While no system can be guaranteed completely secure, we take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.

7. Overseas disclosure

We aim to keep personal information in Australia. If we ever need to use an overseas service provider, we will take reasonable steps to make sure they handle the information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

8. Cookies, analytics and spam protection

Our website uses cookies to keep the site working and to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, although some features may not work without them. Our contact form uses a third-party bot-protection service to prevent spam, which may process limited technical data such as your IP address to tell genuine visitors from automated bots.

9. Your rights

You may ask to access the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate. To make a request, contact us using the details below. Support workers and participants should contact their provider in the first instance, as the provider controls that information.

10. How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as it is needed to provide the service and to meet our legal, accounting and record keeping requirements, after which it is securely deleted or de-identified.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, along with the date it was last updated.

12. Contact us

If you have a question or concern about your privacy, or wish to make a complaint, contact us at providr.software@gmail.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

This Privacy Policy is provided as a general template to get you started. Before you rely on it publicly, we recommend having it reviewed by a legal professional so it fits your business and your obligations.
